Be prepared for a colorful pageantry, heartfelt music, and beautiful horses. Fiesta Premio Esmeralda pays tribute to the rich Latino/a culture of many of the workers who tend to the horses, the jockeys, and the Charros (Mexican cowboys) as well as the people who appreciate the talents and beauty of the horses.

PLAN YOUR DAY - SAT. JULY 23, 2017
The day begins at noon with a performance by a procession of dancing horses on the track. Accompanied to live mariachi musicians, Mexican folkloric dancers from renowned troupe, Bailadores de Bronce, will perform.
Family activities in the Park (1-5 PM): bounce house (conditions permitting), face painting, courtesy of Tangerine Tales. Delicious food vendors and food trucks will also be available.
The first race will commence at 2:00 PM.
The $75,000 Washington Oaks will also take place on the racetrack, the Oaks is the championship race for the 3-year-old fillies.

General Admission tickets available at the gate for $7.Guests 17 & under are FREE!
Parking is free in the General Lot, the Preferred Lot which is closer to the entrance is $7, and Valet Parking is $10.
