AuburnFest is Coming
AUBURNFEST IN AUGUST
Celebrating all things Auburn, AuburnFest is a fun summer event that brings live music, a beer garden, delicious food options, and exciting children's activities such as a super slide, inflatables, a rock-wall, and train rides.
It all begins on Friday as you enjoy the beautiful outdoors in a summer 5K precursor to AuburnFest! Afterwards, enjoy live music that will keep you on your feet moving to the tunes of The Rain City Time Machine. As nightfall arrives, enjoy seeing a movie under the stars.
Saturday is a day chock full of events that brings together community and civic pride in full display at the kickoff event—the Auburn Days parade along Main Street, followed by a Commemorative Car show concurrent with entertainment activities at Les Gove Park.
The Almost 5K Poker Fun Run & Walk on Friday, August 11 at 7pm. This revised fun run will utilize the new big loop at Les Gove Park. Five loops around is “almost” a 5K (short of a 5K by 1,138 feet).
For each lap around the loop, runners will stop, draw a card, and try to get the best poker hand with the five cards drawn. Instead of prize awards based on time, prizes will be awarded for the top poker hand in each age category. Prizes will be award from the stage at 8:30pm. All registrants will still receive a dri-fit shirt and will be treated to a fun night in the park.
The AuburnFest Car Show on Saturday, August 12 from 11:00AM - 4:00PM is sure to impress with an array of classic cars, hot rods, and sweet rides.
Awards will be given in 15 categories and announced at 3:30 p.m. by the Car Show D.J.
Because Auburn is a tight-knit community, a “Fill the Bus” event to collect school supplies for kids will be underway!
Please help alleviate what might be a financial burden for some families to ensure that ALL Auburn children will be ready for when school starts.
