Sunset Park was developed by the developer in Lakeland Hills. The community park serves both the surrounding neighborhood and the community at large. The site includes a picnic shelter, popular play structure, two youth baseball/softball fields, trails, basketball court and skate park. View images from the skate park camera.

Make-A-Splash Fundraising Campaign: The Auburn Noon Lions Club, a non-profit 501(c)(3), is working in conjunction with the City of Auburn to raise funds for a new Spray Playground at Sunset Park.

The City has set aside $200,000 for a Spray Playground and the Auburn Noon Lions Club has taken on the task of working with the community to raise funds for the remainder of the project - with a goal of raising $200,000.

Park History

This park was designed and developed by the developers of Lakeland Hills in conjunction with the City of Auburn. The name was selected by a Citizen's group, who decided to name it for the wonderful views of the sunset from the park. The park was dedicated in 2003.
