Get ready to enjoy a  fun calendar of events that includes the Kentucky Derby and Annual Hat Contest, Corgi and Wiener dog races, zebra races, as well as annual traditions such as the Indian Relay Races, Fiesta Premio Esmeralda, and the Firework Spectacular are definitely returning! 

PLAN YOUR VISIT

Come see the beautiful horses up close on a lovely summer day with a gorgeous view of Mt. Rainier.  Bring cash for the concession stands or bring a picnic. (Non-alcoholic beverages that are factory sealed only and no glass containers are permitted.)

Entrance: Admission is $9 per adult, visitors 17 years and under are free. With a Military I.D., admission is free. 

Parking: Parking in the General Area is free, $10 to park in the Preferred Area, or $15 for valet parking. Premium Days is $5 extra to park in the Preferred Area or valet parking.

 FAMILY FUN DAYS

Bring the whole family to enjoy free fun activities such as pony rides, face painting, and a bouncy house for a day at the horse races!

INDIAN RELAY RACES

Champion Indian Horse Relay teams converge on Emerald Downs for the Muckleshoot Gold Cup Championship. Teams dressed in traditional regalia ride this 2-mile race exchanging horses every ½ mile. Warriors leap from one galloping horse to another creating organized mayhem. Come see the powerful and traditionally painted warhorses. 

Indian Relay Racing gets underway under the lights on June 8, 9, 10. Twenty-one teams are planning on competing in the three-day event. Each night will focus on heats (7 teams in each one) during the 7-race card. First Thoroughbred race at 6:30 PM.
